What do I do now?

What to do when
a death occurs

A Place for Our Community To Remember, Celebrate & Honour a Life Lived.

Choosing among funeral providers is a difficult decision. Whether it's the result of necessity or a desire to be prepared, there are many factors to consider. Will your needs and wishes be met? Do you know and trust the director? What is the firm's reputation? With such a serious matter it’s wise to get all the facts before making your selection.

Our mission has been to help lighten the burden and improve the experience that one has when going through the difficult time after a death. We achieve this through a family of well trained professionals, who through their sensitivity and creativity help guide you.

Today, families looking for funeral homes in Caledon and Orangeville select Dods & McNair Funeral Home for a cremation or burial service.

We are Orangeville’s Only Locally Owned and Operated, full service funeral home. Our family has been in the funeral profession for two generations. We have taken great pride in serving many of our families, generation after generation. During that period of time we have served families of all faiths, nationalities and beliefs from many different communities surrounding Orangeville and Caledon.

Within a family environment, our staff will guide you in the final arrangements so that your cost will be within your means and that the service you select will be meaningful and will reflect a life lived. We dedicate ourselves to do all we can for the bereaved and help them cope with the loss of a loved one by providing professional, caring, understanding and a compassionate response to needs.

We recognize that funeral services are a calling with great responsibilities. It demands the highest professional standards. We count it a priveliage to serve those who come into our care. This trust and confidence makes us both proud and humble.
