McCallen, Bernard Douglas (Barney)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Georgina Warren (2007) and his life partner Christina Brown (2012). Dear father of Deborah McCallen, Brenda McCallen (Donnie), Dianne McCallen (Mark), Ronald (Colleen), Robert (Debi) and Brian. Predeceased by his eldest son William (Billy). Cherished grandfather of Anna, Eric, Corey, Brandon, Brittany and Lindsay. Remembered by his great-grandchildren and his step-daughter Kathleen (Mike). Also missed by his brothers Gerald (Lisa) and Paul (Barb) and his cousin Eugene (Ginette). Predeceased by his brothers John, Patrick, Michael, Stephen and his sister Mary. Sadly missed by his family friend Callie. Barney will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Leukemia Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Barney in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
