Abby Gauthier, Bert's eldest son, has been involved in the funeral business throughout his entire life. Abby, a licensed funeral director, and his wife, Gillian, are involved in the Orangeville community and their church family. They have eight precious children 6 girls and two boys

Owners of Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Bert and Joyce Gauthier purchased the funeral home in 1988 after moving from Guelph, Ontario. Both continue to be involved in all aspects of their family-owned business; Bert, as a licensed funeral director, and Joyce, reception host.

Doug is a licensed funeral director with over 40 years of experience and knowledge of the profession. He is a past president of the Ontario Funeral Service Association, Open Dialogue Limited, and former chair of the Complaints Committee under the Board of Funeral Services, (now the Bereavement Authority of Ontario). He has been a friend of the Gauthier family for many years.
