Obituary for Paul Frank Kain

Kain, Paul
Peacefully surrounded by his family, at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Pam Hillock. Dear father of Trevor and Michael. Loving son of Larry and Marg Kain and brother of Kathy Baker (Chris). Son-in-law of Don and Joan Hillock and brother-in-law of Todd (Cate). Predeceased by his brothers Tony and Mitch. Paul will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario, on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
The burial will be held in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery where Paul will be reunited with his brothers. Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Paul in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of uncle Paul. Aunt Pam, Trevor and Michael, Grams and Grampie along with the rest of the Kain family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We wish we could have visited one last time before you passed, uncle Paul, and that you could have met your great-nephew but we know that he now has another angel along side his grandpa Tony watching over him. The Petetski girls from the bottom of the hill on Sunset Drive just want to send our deepest, heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Paul. Although we were a few years younger we still recall the great memories of Sunset Drive summertime evenings when 'kids' of ages went from yard/garage to neighbours yard/garages and visited. Those are great memories we hold dear, the wonderful 1970's on Sunset Drive. I know the 'old Sunset Drive' crew will welcome him in heaven with a stubby beer, a lawn chair and a good game of cards.
