Joan Margaret White (nee Hand)
Peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Harry White (2007). Dear mother of Sharon (Bill), Rick (Jan), Bruce (2010), Glenn, Doug (Natalle). Dear grandma of Hope, Lindsay, David, Andrew, Tess, Ashley, Billy, Michael (1984), Danielle, Melissa, and Samantha, and great-grandma of Jakob, Chase, Lucas, Abby, Charlie, Thiea and Jackson. Joan will also be greatly missed by her sister Shirley and other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Joan in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
